Jodie High School is a high school located in Jodie, Texas, a small town near Dallas. The school colors are blue and yellow, and their mascot is the lion.
Plot[]
Jake Epping took a teaching job here in 1960 while he awaited Lee Harvey Oswald's 1962 arrival. He befriended Deke Simmons, the principal, and Mimi Corcoran, Deke's secretary. Jake built a successful career at the school.
In 1962 he met Sadie Dunhill, the new school librarian, whom he had met before by chance at Dealey Plaza in 1960.
Whereas in 2016 Jake had been burned out, here in 1960s Jodie he revived and became one of the students' favorite teachers.
