Jake Epping (Jake Amberson) is a high school English and Literature teacher, and a writer living in Lisbon, Maine.
Biography[]
Jacob George "Jake" Epping was born on February 27, 1978.[1] He attended Bates College. Jake currently teaches English and Literature at South Lisbon High School, and also teaches GED night classes. Harry Dunning is one of his GED students. ("The Rabbit Hole")
Jake was married to Christy Epping. She liked his writing and made him take ballroom dance classes. They divorced in 2016. ("The Rabbit Hole") ("Other Voices, Other Rooms")
Jake has been good friends with Al Templeton for ten to twelve years. Al shows him the Rabbit Hole (time portal) in the pantry of his diner and convinces Jake to go back in time to stop the assassination of John F. Kennedy. ("The Rabbit Hole")
