Plot

Jake Epping takes a teaching job here in 1960 while he awaits Lee Harvey Oswald's 1962 arrival. He befriends Deke Simmons, the principal, and Mimi Corcoran, Deke's secretary. Jake builds a successful career at the school.

In 1962 he meets Sadie Dunhill, the new school librarian, whom he had met before by chance at Dealey Plaza in 1960.

Whereas in 2016 Jake had been burned out, here in 1960s Jodie he revives and becomes one of the students' favorite teachers.
